Asus Eee PC X101 MeeGo netbook is designed from the ground up to meet the requirements of the modern mobile user who lives, works and plays online. Less than 18mm thick and weighing less than 950g, its small and light enough to take anywhere. The display size is 10.1-inch with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and LED backlight technology. Asus Eee PC X101 is powered by Intel Atom N435 processor. It has 1 GB DDR3 memory which upgradeable to 2 GB. Eee PC X101 has 8 GB SSD + DropBoxcloud storage pre-load, while X101H has 250 GB HDD + DropBox cloud storage pre-load. How To Check Laptop PC Hardware ID

1) What is Hardware ID???
    Ans : Its the Hardware Identification Number.
             Its unique and specific for that model only.

2) Why should we even bother to check the hardware ID???
     Ans : Because, Hardware ID can determine which
     driver we need to install in order to make that
     hardware running.

How to check??? 

Note: This guide is made under Windows 7 OS. Should be the same with Win XP OS.

Procedure
Open Device Manager (Windows Button + R) then type "devmgmt.msc" and press Enter. You should see Device Manager Windows as shown below.

Follow screenshot below to check Hardware ID.
